In reply to Maria Gonzales. Both are fine. I would just go with whatever has lower fees since they will have relatively similar performance over many many years.

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to review the Fidelity zero-fee funds. I have a quick question. Hopefully, you can assist. I recently opened my first Fidelity retirement account.

FZROX, in particular, is an excellent zero-fee fund. What could be better than free! However, it is relatively new in comparison to VTSAX. I did a quick comparison and found that VTSAX outperformed in the long run. The VTSAX fee is also reasonable. 0.04 percent is insignificant. Having said that, should I use VTSAX or FZROX? The disadvantage is that, according to this post https://usefidelity.com/t/how-much-does-fidelity-charge-to-buy-vanguard-funds/117, Fidelity will charge me for purchasing VTSAX. Which do you think is the better option?
